Did your parents have a look? That certain look that made it clear you were in big trouble? Or a look that meant there would be a discussion when your friends went home? Or a look that confirmed you were adored above all the other siblings? (Just kidding, siblings.) My parents did. They also looked at one another with very specific looks. I became certain they had an unspoken language, because it looked like they were saying a WHOLE lot with their LOOKS when they made EYE CONTACT.

Do my husband and I do that? Do our kids notice? I'll have to ask them, because I'm not really sure if we've got the look, or not. Do you have the look? If you do, give yourself a high five, because it's NationalHighFiveDay and the LOOK deserves it.
