Day 223

Day 223: This is destined to be a memorable Smatterday, because it’s only 8:30 in the morning and I’m looking up at swaying palm trees.

Instead of laundry and grocery shopping, we plan to see waterfalls and lighthouses and tide pools today. Still a smattering of events, but definitely not our norm.

I feel very grateful to be adding a new path to my Memory Lane today, but feeling guilty to be sitting on an island surrounded by water when back home there are terrible forest fires and people are praying for rain.
