Day 229

Day 229: This breathtaking lighthouse at the Kilauea Wildlife Preserve was my last photo-op before going to the airport to catch last night’s red-eye. They don’t call it the red-eye for nothin’.

I’m reminded of my mother saying to me, “One hour of sleep before midnight is worth two hours of sleep after midnight.” I wonder what she’d say about no sleep at all?
